Too Cool CH. 2


You splashed in a puddle of water as you were walking up to the school to meet the infamous Dave Strider. You grimaced at the wet that now soaked the bottom of your jeans with a shrug you walked off. It wasn't as if it wasn't normal anymore.

Finally a red Durango came into view. Red was obviously Dave's favorite color.You ultimately figured this must be Dave's car. You trudged over to it and found there was someone in the car.

Not blonde hair though. Brown. You looked around again. It was 6:08 and Dave was not here yet. You sighed making your way over to a bench to sit and wait.


DAVES POV
Meanwhile...

Dirk was throwing smuppets at you. "Dude! I'm going to be late!"

Dirk stayed silent as you yelled at him. "Hurry and find my damn keys!" You yelled.

Dirk just tossed another smuppet at you. He had lost your keys and was now searching everywhere for them. He had 12 piles of smuppets so this could take a while.

At about 7:45 you finally found your keys and bounded out of the house not caring about your cool kid composure at the moment.


[Name's] POV

You sighed. "8:00" You started to get up. You had waited for two hours and knew Dave probably decided to ditch you.

You were halfway home and it was now 8:30 due to your disappointment causing you to walk slower. You sighed once more knowing that the headlights shining beside you were not to Dave's vehicle.  

BUT, THAT WAS A LIE!

"Yo' [name]!" Dave yelled form his red truck. you looked up and frowned at him.

"Strider you're late!"
"And you're [name]." He chuckled which coaxed a smile from you. He motioned to the passenger seat in which you happily climbed into.
